Come and spend the morning volunteering at the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary. You will help the team responsible for invasive weed control, to give the native species the best shot at thriving.

Limited to 20 spaces, so sign up now! This event is free to attend, but you need to register to secure your spot.

All instructions will be supplied by the knowledgeable team leader, but wear sturdy shoes and “gardening clothes”, and bring a pair of gloves.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a vaccine pass will be required to enter the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary.

We will spend about 3 hours at the Sanctuary, guided by the knowledgeable team who will introduce us to the area and give us an idea of all the volunteer work that goes on.

We will organise to all go out for a drink together afterwards.
