Intepeople Professional Development Series #3 – Work, Balance & Resilience
21/08/2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free – $25.00We have an incredible four-part speaker series held over the upcoming months brought to you by our wonderful sponsors – Intepeople.
Our third speaker for the series is Miriana Stephens of the Wakatū Incorporation. Miriana is a Lawyer, Mother, Business Woman and Director.
Miriana was born and raised in Motueka and is of Ngāti Rārua, Ngāiterangi and Ngāti Ranginui descent. With a background in Corporate Law, she was a Scholarship recipient of the Incorporation and has risen through the ranks to her current role on the Board. She also holds external directorships in a public and private capacity, and is a strong campaigner for our region. She has recently been a champion for the Te Tauihu Strategy, and she is passionate about the future and prosperity of our people.
Join us as we hear about Miriana’s current work, her journey there and the challenges she has overcome in this time. We are looking into the topics of work, balance and resilience – how do we learn and continue to grow while keeping a healthy balance at home, and within ourselves. What tools can we use in our own lives to ensure our own success in both personal and professional areas? How do we become resilient in the face of adversity?
