It’s that time of the year again – Corpor8 Rowing!

With last year’s success we are excited to create NYP crews again. Never done it before? No worries! Other’s will be in the same boat 😀

Details:

Teams of Eight will train weekly under the guidance of skilled and knowledgeable coaches. No
previous rowing experience is required!

Over the course of the 4 weeks from 21 September 2020 to 18 October 2020 Corp8 crews will
learn boat handling and will develop rowing and racing technique. Teamwork, of course, will be
strongly emphasised.

The race committee will supply the boats, coaches and coxswains. All the rowers need to do is
participate in training session and show up on race day!

All team members can be from the same corporation or organisation, or you can team up with
another organisation to form your crew. It’s up to you!

An indoor rowing competition and social evening for all crews will be held on Thurs, 15 October

RACE DAY approx. 10am on Sunday morning 18 October 2020. You will race over 500 metres with plenty of opportunity to practice racing prior to race day. Teams will be competing for the Nelson Corpor8 Challenge Trophy.

An awards presentation for all participants will follow the Nelson Corpor8 Rowing Challenge following race day. Competitors and valued supporters are invited to attend the prizegiving and entertainment at the conclusion of the rowing.

$145 per person to register and this includes:

‍♀️ Post regatta celebration and barbecue
